Just a minute after the birth... I picked up Alex and held him on my chest and rested for a few minutes. He's still attached to the cord.

Here I am at Melissa's...and I had Dorian find Melissa's blog and I jumped to yours from there. I was soooo glad to see little Alex. I can't wait to read the birth story. Dad and Kaija looked at the pictures over my shoulder. We all think he is wonderful. We are here in Rigby until Tuesday morning early when we need to take off for home. We will stop at Jacy's for a couple of hours and hope to be home by 10 pm. We have had a great time at Conference and listening to all the talks. We got to be at the Solemn Assembly. It was an amazing experience. Crockett newsletter this coming Sunday. Anything you want in it? Love and Hugs

amazing how a big newborn doesn't feel as 'new' as the little ones...my baby was 7lbs and then two months later my sisters was 9.5...and the two kids were almost the same size! It was like giving birth to a 2m old!
